Hi! My name is Elizabeth Doty
I am an Arkansas native who moved to NJ! I met a handsome guy on Facebook, drove 18 hours to meet him, and I never left the state.
We just came up to our 7 year wedding anniversary just recently (09.24.2026)! It's been a blast and a half being married to my bestie.
I grew up in the deep South, and now I live in South Jersey! The country accent is still there, but I've added some New Jersey flare to my speech.
I went to college and acquired a Bachelor's in Digital Film with a Minor in Creative Writing.
Storytelling has always been my passion. And now, I can tell stories for two people who fell in love and decided to seal the deal and host their family and friends on their big day.
Chris (my hubby and second videographer) and I can't wait to capture your wedding on video.

Chris and I (Elizabeth) are your dynamic duo for the day. For every wedding videography package, I will stay the full 8+ hour timeframe as your lead videographer, and my second, Chris will usually stay from the beginning of your big day til about 1 or 1.5 hours after your speeches are completed during your reception.

Elizabeth Doty started filming weddings in 2013 while she attended film school.
She officially established her wedding and event video biz in January 2021.
She loves capturing love!
From the first inquiry email to booking, to her and Chris filming your event, and finally delivering your final video package, it will be a breeze working with her.

Christopher Doty
Chris Doty has experience in videography from years of running the media team at church!
When he met Elizabeth, she quickly put him to work as her second videographer. He had no complaints!
He's cool headed, always calm and collected, and a natural problem solver. He's truly a blast to have at any wedding.

About Chris Doty:
Chris graduated from college with his teaching degree way back when! He currently works as a full time tech for the school district after more than a decade of being a full-time teacher. They still throw him in the classroom from time to time when they need him, but yeah he keeps the entire school running with 80 plus individuals who need tech support. He's pretty amazing and very talented in that capacity. His natural people management skills and problem solving skills are always put to use at weddings or special events!
Chris is also author of 10 Christian books and is a creative artist who makes Christian-oriented art. He's just such a go getter.
Chris is also a pro weight lifter with many impressive Personal Records. He has coached me (Elizabeth) for years now in weight lifting and he picks up new weight lifting students constantly. He CRAFTS these men and women as they continue to get that added education in the gym.
They all wanna get big just like him! Heck I wanna get big like him!
He's also a pro gamer in World of Warcraft. His stats are just plain SILLY!
He's an amazing husband, friend to many, super supportive CO-WORKER, and an impressive gym goer.
About Liz Doty:
I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor's in Digital Filmmaking, and a Creative Writing Minor.
I loved my years spent making films and getting an education. I've shared some pics above showing some of my time spent learning the art of MAKIN' MOVIES.
I'm a huge nerd for podcasts and diving into my favorite Youtube content.
I've been filming weddings since 2013 but got serious about offering videography as a service when the era of Covid started. I thought how can I use my degree and my love for storytelling to help others? Oh! Got it! I'll start a videography business.
I met the hunny bunny that is Chris Doty and we started to build a life together. I officially started Proper Vision in 2021.
Currently, I enjoy eating up podcast & Youtube episodes about religion, psychology, and about all things business.
I love weight lifting. My hubby got me into it and I love how I feel when I do it. It's the best. I've never been into gymming until I found my thang! It's working out with my super hot husband! It helps that my coach is hot.
I film content that is non- wedding related and I capture photos year round for couples, families, and individuals who are celebrating something special. I do not, however, do wedding photography at this time. I'm strictly a wedding videographer, who captures lifestyle photos for customers.
Wedding and event videography has been so fulfilling because I get to stick with these amazing families as they first start planning their wedding up to that big, magical day, and then to the final portion of our time together when I deliver their final videos. It's the best feeling to know me and my team NAILED the filming of the videos and the editing, and that the customers love the final product.
